So, the front drive shaft rotates even when 4wd is not engaged?
I have the same problem and believe it's the drive shaft.

Don't get me wrong, I love my '05 LJ, but does anyone else like the leaf spring set up better than the coil spring setup other than me? It seems that the control arm & coil spring configuration...

Thanks for the note tktx. I am installing my adjustable Rough Country track bar after work today. Hopefully, that will get rid of the 55mph shimmy.

2005 lj

Replaced upper and lower control arm bushings as well as front track bar bushing. Made a huge difference in the ride.

Mine is also a 2" coil spacer. The spacers came with shocks, so I think I am good there.
I am going to replace my control arm bushings and front track bar bushing with poly due to a little shimmy...

With a budget 2" spacer lift with shocks, are there any additional modifications recommended or required (i.e. front or rear track bar, transfer case drop, etc)?

Control arm replacement question

I will be replacing my control arms next weekend and have a question. Do I place jack stands under the frame rails when doing this job or leave it on the ground?
