Towing Question

The maximum towing capacity for my wife's 2009 KIA Sportage is 2000 lbs. I've never weighed my rig, but I'd venture to say that it weights well above 2k lbs.

I am wanting to go to an off road...

Vent panel removal

How do you pull off this panel? I've got four screws on top and two along the weather stripping. Something still has a hold of it.

I'm trying to find a good place to run some windshield light...

I suggest staying away from Smittybilt. The welding is subpar and the paint finish is horrible. I am stripping the powdercoat off of mine now and refinishing them. It is a PITA.

Finally got it loose. PB Blaster and a heat gun did the trick. My front driveshaft is in pretty bad shape. Debating on just dropping it off at a driveshaft shop and have them deal with it.

If you go with the smittybilt then I would strip the crappy powder coat and refinish it yourself.

Finally fixed the winch... needed a replacement motor (Warn M8000) found a decent replacement at dbelectrical.com. Good customer service and much cheaper than buying from Warn.
