Certainly some good food for thought. I imagine if tire companies want to switch from standard to metric across the board, then it's just about "when" to do it, since there are a lot of folks still...

I opened the same debate awhile back on the forum, and for most folks with loads of experience and places/resources to glean information, the death of the 15" is greatly exaggerated.

I use my rig both on and off road. I also have an all-wheel drive SUV so I don't use the Jeep all that much in the winter, but do in the spring and fall. The MTR / KM2 purchase would be for...

Exactly why I'm keeping my Duratracs for the winter/wet months around these parts when the snow keeps us down low. I didn't expect my Duratracs to be the tire for places like Moab, hence the search....

I'm not sure about 35" but Discount Tire here didn't say anything about a delay if I order the 33" MTRs. I'm heading to Moab in September so that's why I'm beating my head on the wall so much about...

Thanks for the pictures Island TJ and to all for their input. Now to de ice between 10.5 & 12.5. That is becoming the big part of choosing as I'd prefer to go narrower than wider.

Thanks. I realize there's probably no one tire that does all things well. I'm leaning toward the MTR if the 12.50's will fit my 3-3-1/2" lift. If not then my only choice is the KM2 because I'm not...
