Assuming both setups have control arm drop brackets (Aev or Rancho) the caster/pinion angles should be in the same range for both setups. So all things being equal...

It will hold your tire and also reinforce your tailgate.

Heads up there might be a fitment issue since your tailgate is banged up.

Literally the only difference in the final product will be shocks and coils. I wish I could just try them out :/ I mean if the coils and shock setup on the AEV is really really good I wouldn't mind...
