I had auto controls in my 2012 and hated it. I could never bet it to balance. I have manual controls in my 2014 and it works great. I also have leather and heated seats.

When you hit snow covered roads just go into 4wd High. Just keep your speed in check and you will do fine. Mine surprises me in the snow all the time. Went through 16" with no problem.
