The stock wheels are 25 lbs. I think IIRC and the MB wheels are around 20 lbs. So basically those 285/70 tires are heavy. Around 60ish lbs. And that's with a mild tread pattern and no sidewall...

To each their own. I've run BFG KO three times over the years. Hands down the worst tire on the market for snow and mud. These new ATs of the last 10-15 years will destroy them in every condition...

Where do you live and what will you be driving them in? The BFG KO is horrible for sloppy conditions. So at long as you drive around snow and mud and standing water you'll be OK.
