Any chance you can read the code or get it read? That will provide the most information. Idle issues could be the TPS or IAC, but I would not chase them without getting the code read.

With OD on you will be at 2260 RPM, above lugging the engine, but not ideal and you will get more downshifts to 3rd or even 2nd...
