If it were me I would go with a new rear end....

If it were me I would go with a new rear end. While I was at it I would swap in a 8.8 rear diff out of a ford explorer. If your running 33's the 8.8 should hold up better in the long run.

I ran into the same problem when I did my 4"...

I ran into the same problem when I did my 4" suspension lift. I think ended up putting a jack under the axle and jacking up just that side. Good luck, it can be a pain!
