They may have been too tall for what you wanted. I actually got about 6-7" of lift from them. They may settle some, but they haven't in the 4-5 months that I've had them.

They ride a lot better than the bastard-pack 2" springs and the 4" Rustys Offroad springs I had. And TONS better than my friends 2.5" Rough Country. Flexes great, too.

First pic is the track bar. Most people take it off. The rear one too. The second pic is the sway bar. Mine is gone, but most people run disconnects on it. Take them off and see what you think. If...

SYE: $200, driveshaft: around $270-300, high steer: $150-500 depending on what you do, Trac bar: free-whatever materials cost, brake lines: mine were $50 from the parts store, spring perches: lets...

A SOA lift will give 5-6". You'll need new brake lines, high steer, slip yoke eliminator, traction bar, rear drive shaft, I'd do a rear axle too, because the D35 won't take the tires you can fit with...

AllMudd, I just removed my Thrush Welded and installed a Flow Pro Twister on my 4.0. I loved that Thrush, but this thing sounds so much meaner now. The sound is a lot deeper. So if you aren't set on...

I don't drive my jeep in the winter, so I can't comment on how it drives in 4wd with a locked front axle in the snow, but I've heard it can be quite scary. Definitely not something I would want to...

I run an Aussie locker in my D30. You should never hear it or feel it in 2wd if you still have the CAD system. Any auto locker is a great choice as long as you don't drive in the snow and ice.

If you aren't set on the D44, I say screw it and get an 8.8. Both will need the perches relocated, and the 8.8 is stronger and can come with discs. Has the same bolt pattern too.

I noticed mine did that a couple years ago, except mine was even worse. So I reached down and grabbed the inside of the frame and squeezed, and the frame just crumbled in my hand. Needless to say I...

It's a good axle, a bit stronger than the D35 but a touch weaker than an 8.8. If you're only planning on 35s, it should be a great choice. Should be a pretty easy swap, too. You'll want to get rid of...

Yeah, that D30 should handle the 2.5l and 32s just fine. If you really feel like it, you could throw some XJ/TJ shafts in there too to delete the CAD system and get bigger u-joints.

While everyone...

No, putting it in low will still make the front left turn. Only way to get 2wd low is to put manual hubs on it or pull the front driveshaft

Any explorer or mountaineer from 95-01 I think. They have disc brakes, and a lot of them come with 4.10s so you wouldn't even have to regear.

I think you'd be fine keeping the stock D30 and just swapping a stock 8.8 in back. That's what I run with 35's (D30 is locked too) and it has held up great. And I'm not easy on it.

I agree they can be a pain, but worth it if you want a good ride on road. I actually decided to just take off the sway bar after a while.
