My wife doesn't drive it. The only place I drive at night is to a State Prison parking lot - again, not a problem. I don't live in New York City. This is a rural area... To each their own. ;)

Sidesteps I'm not sure about, but the ACE rock sliders can be installed with the Rubi rails left intact. My wife is 5'2" and has no problem using the ACE sliders as a step.

The EVIC is not standard on the Sahara - at least it wasn't on our 2012 - it was only available as part of the Connectivity Group when we ordered.
