Easy to replace. It takes about 20 minutes and the dealership had the part for $65. It is cheaper online, but I did not have the time as I am leaving town shortly.

I found a friend that had a oil pressure tester kit and yes the sending unit is bad. It is at 50 psi and not 80 psi. My local dealership has the part except it is almost $70. I do not have time...

I think that is a scam unless there really are that many trees with leaves on them in the middle of winter. That is way too good of a price too even with the mileage and such.

Remember that you also have a mechanical fan. When that hits water bad things start to happen. Jack it up quite a little bit with bigger tires and you may be fine, but not in a stock Jeep ever.

Leak is so small that it leaks from 18 to 12 psi over an hour and a half. I put some UV dye in it, but that will take a month to see where it is leaking if I can even find it.

Pump it up to 18psi and it holds it at 18psi for about 30 seconds.
16psi to 14 psi takes about 20 minutes
14 psi down to 8 psi takes about 2 hours

The leak came from either the output tranny shaft seal or the input transfer case seal. I replaced both and now there is no leak. Had to remove the transfer case, but that was easy.
