From what you describe, it sounds like the body mount screws. There should be 10 total on the tub, so yes these bolt to the frame. The good news for you is that there is no need to cut out the floor...

About to paint one of my frames this weekend, weather permitting. Plan on using Bill Hirsch Miracle Paint. A little pricey, but have seen nothing other than great final products from it.

Sounds like clogged injectors to me, had the same issue a few months back. Fortunately the cleaner did the job for me. Give the cleaner time to do its job, its isn't instantaneous after all......
