You could go with a Chevy 350, TH350, and an NP205 Transfer Case like I did. I got lucky because my TH350K had the NP205. Like 1SAS, I'm doing a frame up resto on my CJ-7

Auto more than likely. I have a TH350 but the adapter for the transfer case is like $500. If i traded someone a Jeep tranny, bought a transfer case and the bell house adapter, I would save $150.

So you offset it 2" towards the passenger side... Do you have to relocate the mounts forward or backwards a few inches?

Thanks man. I would love to make my own motor mounts but I'm not running enough electricity at the moment to use our welder.
