If it still has the stock carb on it, the problem is more than likely clogged idle tubes in the carb. If so, there are many solutions to that problem from cleaning the idle tubes, to boring them out....

I'm having the same issue and have been chasing it for a while. I managed to improve it (takes longer for it to leak out) by replacing the fuel pump. The diaphragm in the fuel pumps can leak.
