Mine didn't seem to have any problem with ice and slush. I had a build up of almost a quarter inch with minimal effect on the output. It was also very easy to get the ice off of the glass.

From what I can see, you look to have a factory style frame. If the rear bow is a multi-piece setup that is bolted to the body rail, then you have a Supertop frame.

A factory frame is the better...

You attach a d-ring to it. No need for a hook if you have a safety thimble. You splice your synthetic line around the thimble, and it's permanently part of the winch line at that point

It might be a ZJ linkage, but you're installing it on a TJ steering system. Use the torque settings for the TJ and you'll be fine. This is what I did and I'm having no issues.

That's exactly what I did. Spliced the new lights into the old harness. I can unplug them if necessary, and they work with the stock switch.

I used Hella Optilux LED fogs.
