Hi guys,
I know there's about 1,000 posts pertaining to leaks, but i've yet to come across one that is similar to what i'm experiencing.
I've got a 2007 4door X with a soft top that I just picked up last week, I checked it for the A-Pillar leak when I bought it and there were no drips.
However, after washing the jeep yesterday I noticed the floor pans on the drivers and passengers side front seats were completely soaked. The center of the wetness seems to be coming from directly in the center of the floor pan and radiating out from there...
There's no signs of water coming in from the a-pilar atleast in terms of drips, or water on the doors, but the wetness does spread the entire way over to that side of the floor pan.
The wetness doesn't spread the whole way to the other side by the center console/shifter area, and it also does not spread the entire way up the front under the dash. I checked under the dash and around the doors as best i could w/out taking **** apart looking for any signs of water and found none.
I can't figure out where its coming from, I guess I should remove the carpet and get in and watch but wanted to see if anyone else had encountered/fixed this problem before.
Also, please note this was not a carwash, so it couldn't have possible come up from underneath...just me and my garden hose in the driveway.
thanks again!
Josh
