I need a winch plate that can go inside the plastic oem bumper, 19 jlu sport

I'm looking at getting a either the rugged ridge 9.5 k or 12.5k with synthetic rope(right now same price) or a smittybilt 9.5k with synthetic winch and a couple other toys in the new year.

I am having a hard time finding a winch plate so I can have the winch recessed into the bumper, I don't have any problems cutting and modifying the bumper. I know rock hard 4x4 has one the sits on top of the bumper.

Ultimately I would like to get a new front bumper, but that is probably going to have to wait till 2021 and Id rather get a 2.5in lift and 35's over a bumper.

Thanks

Something like this should work since it mounts to the frame rails.

Then add a fairlead mount.

Of course that starts to add up $ making a new stubby bumper look much more attractive.

Based on the OPís comments about cutting, I believe they have the standard bumper. Arenít the mounts you posted only for the optional steel bumpers?

Yes, those parts are made for the steel bumper, but the OP asked for a way to mount a winch in the standard bumper. One good way to do that is to get a mount that attaches to the frame rails then cut the plastic bumper to fit around the winch.

I bought a Warn mount. I plan to install it and cut the plastic bumper. Also the metal plastic support needs to be cut and some rivnuts need to be installed. It might not work but thats what I am going to try.

I actually picked up a hooke road bumper, it was in my budget, came with the bull bar, place for the winch and 2 set of led lights. think I paid 350$ Canadian for it, the shipping was free. Only problem is the led lights are crazy bright, need to find a way to dim them a little.
