Bought my first wrangler two weeks ago. Last night, while driving, the whole dash lit up and then "rebooted". It didn't effect the drivability of the jeep itself, but it was weird. The speedo and the tach were at 0 as was the fuel and temp gauge and the center info screen started just like it does when you first get in.

This morning, it did the same thing for the first 10 minutes of driving after which, I guess one of the "reboots" stuck. It's at the dealer right now and we are hoping a flash of that system fixes it.

Anyone else had this happen?

No. Just my stereo popped and rebooted a few times. No fix

I think mine did once. Computers can be a BeAtch. Great when they behave but like a spoiled 4 year old brat.... it's sporadic (sometimes).

Everything I own with a computer in it is a hit or miss proposition.

Yep our 18 Grand Cherokee gets quirky too.

Keep me updated on your dealer visit. If an additional layer of assistance is needed while you're there, don't hesitate to send us a direct message.

Jinxed me.... BU camera blank.

----------

Apparently there is a "bulletin" out stating there is a software update to fix bugs - According to the dealer "It takes an entire day for them to download software updates and then most of time the file is corrupted and they have to start over".

That's a quote.

This info I found out after I had pushed the "assist" button on my mirror and was connected to "Lucrisha" at uconnect and I asked for an OTA reboot. Not possible and neither are the software updates.

Another swing and a miss by FCA
