jk jeep

Has anyone had a battery overheat/explode? is there an insulator for available for the battery ? Its a 3.8 petrol

I seen the result of one once it was on a landcruiser , had been starting sluggish all day and then the battery poped on night shift, it was a fault in the battery
Did you mean an isolator instead of insulator? I don't think one would help if it pope during charging (while the vehicle was running) I would check out the voltage regulator on your alternator
