1947 Willys New Owner

Howdy y'all! I am doing a total ground up restoration on this old body and I bought a media blaster. Which media should I use? I have some Black Diamond now, but not enough... and I've never really tackled a project like this! Great being a new/old jeep owner! Any suggestions are welcomed!

Nice rig!

Welcome to the forum!

I wouldn't say I'm a "master" but I'm glad to help. Hope the answers I gave in the PM were helpful, let me know if I can do anything more.

First off, welcome!
Secondly, awesome rig and looking forward to seeing progress of this.

Not that I know much about blasting....but does normal sandblasting not work for this type of work? Out of my league as I've never been someone who "restores."
Whatever good things we build, end up building us.

What pressures are you shooting the Black Diamond at - at 100+ PSI and high CFMs it should strip that VERY quickly. Really need to be careful to not do metal damage with B.D.
