Question 1992 YJ Sport Bar

Hello everyone, I am a 19 year old from Iowa who just this past summer joined the jeep family. So far I've enjoyed the new old jeep, replaced the old seats, cleaned it up inside and out but still keeping it simple as it's a great weekend driver around town and on the dirt roads.

In my process of changing a few things I have removed the back seat due to its poor condition and I am in search to switch out the "family roll bar" that became standard in 92.

I have been searching everywhere for a sport style roll bar that was offered during the previous years. Due to no back seat and the pure love of the sport look I am on the look. Only issue is that I can't seem to find them anywhere, Craigslist, eBay, and jeep accessory sites, I can't seem to locate one.

I was wondering if any of you know of a place of have a sport bar for sale. Trying to find one before it warms up again here in Iowa!

Thank you for the support, hope to hear from y'all soon!

When you get 15 posts on the forum, you can post in the forum's wanted section looking for used sport bar. I suggest you check out this forum area for the YJ model Wrangler and post your questions there, looking for a lead for something new. I think you'll get a better response there.

Welcome to the Forum Brock.driscoll,

As stated above, once you have 15 posts you can post in the classified ads.
You can also post today on CraigsList.
The family bar is more popular than the sport bar. If you post an ad "willing to trade" you might even get a sport bar and a few bucks.

One tip....The large torx bolts that secure the roll bar to the floor have threadlocker (Loctite) applied at the factory. In order to get them out, it's much easier if you heat them first.

Good Luck, L.M.
