1st timer...sold the SRT8, bought an LJ

New guy from Massachusetts, just bought a 2004 LJ , all stock. Added a couple " creature comforts"...arm rests, grab handles and some "quicker" release knobs to get the 5000lb hardtop off easier. I also already put up a hoist in my garage rafters and built a frame for getting the hardtop off...works great. Also replaced the old rusted and banged up tube/hoop bumpers with new ones.

Just started looking into lifting it. Lurked around online and saw alot of good info. Going to stick to 33'x12.50x15 tires. Undecided on wheel size , 8 or 10". Got price on a 2.5" RC lift and a 1.25" body lift but the more I look into it I think I'm going for a 3" lift instead. I'm at the entry level of the $$... looking at Zone and RC because of that.

No rock crawling, sold the dirt bikes and ATV's...this ones just a daily driver that we'd like to look "semi beast mode".

Like the title says...we sold our Jeep SRT8 for this...its a bit of a shock but we've always wanted a Wrangler, love being able to take the top off. Also like not having to worry about where we park it, where we go etc... like with the SRT8.

Look forward to checking out all the valuable info you all post on here, love what I've seen already, its been a big help.

Thanks guys, hey, any suggestions on lift height for the 33's would be great. I see alot of 2.5" kits that say 32" max but scrolling through here I see alot of guys saying a 2.5 would work. feel free to blast away.
