2nd TJ, but this one is MINE :)

Thanks for creating this forum, it has been really helpful over the past few weeks!
I bought the Jeep through a friend for $1000! It was parked about 4 years ago after the owner bought himself a new one and didn't make the time to fix this one. Absolutely no structural rust on the frame, body in decent condition (front left fender met with a tree and a bit of mold from sitting). Motor runs great, just wouldn't go into gear while running. So I tried to bleed the master and slave, with the help of this forum actually...but was not successful. I decided to have a shop look at it and they never got around to it. So I brought it back home and began the daunting task of dropping the transmission to replace the suspected broken clutch fork clip. It was not broken, replaced it anyway, put it all back together and still wouldn't shift. The clutch pedal was just not getting hard, so I threw a new master and slave cylinder, pre-bled, in it even though the one on there was new before it was parked. Still nothing...so I dropped the transmission again and replaced the whole clutch. Took forever to get the pilot bearing out, but once I got it out, new one in, and it all went together pretty seamlessly. Checked that off the "to-do list" and celebrated! LOL Next thing that I was unaware of until I started to drive it was the state of the steering/suspension system. Found out my track bar was just about ready to fall out. Replaced that a couple days ago. Did a tune up and got rid of the misfire...whew...this thing has kept me pretty busy the past month or so and I am so happy about it. I just got a soft top last night, gave my hard top to my buddy that found the Jeep for me. He hooked me up with his old 4" coils, and soon his 33's. Just gotta get shocks, tie rod ends, and new brakes and that will pretty much do it for the steering/suspension system. Now I have to figure out this issue that seems to be common among TJs with the ignition switch, but I am not very good at electrical stuff so this is proving to be quite the headache. I posted a thread about that under the TJ Tech Forum any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Keep on Jeep'n!!
