60th Birthday Present

On my 60th birthday I bought a 2015 Rubicon Hardrock. I love it! So fun to drive, in part because it’s a manual tranny. I got it for a steal too. Only 20,000 miles and mods include a steel front bumper, winch, and a Sprintex supercharger. I get people telling me the manual tranny is crap for off road, but I can’t help it, I love the way it drives.

Hi and welcome. I’m new here myself! I just turned 50 and I bought a Jeep.... that’s it in my avatar pic. I went from a Lexus RX 350 and a Fiat Spider Abarth to that. Whoa what a difference! Hope you enjoy !

Hi FreedomRV... Wanted to add my Happy Birthday & Welcome to the forum.
I'm running a 2010 Rubicon Unlimited with the 6 speed myself. Got it for Father's Day in 2015. Works great, just had to get used to a manual again after many years with autos.

Hi FreedomRV,

I too am a lover of manual trannys. I run a 98 TJ with the 4banger and 5spd. If you have enough torque for the right gears, a manual is sweet offroad. You'll love the control that you can't get with an auto.
