98 4.0 TJ - My second Wrangler ever

I just picked up this 98, 6 cyl TJ this afternoon. I'd been looking for a new vehicle after my Explorer just got too rusty and more and more things started failing on it. This was probably the 6th or 7th Wrangler I've looked at in the last month and the nicest one by far.

The frame and body are in PERFECT condition, not a spot of rust anywhere to be seen. No dents or fading paint. The fender flares look like they've been plasti-dipped but they look fine in my opinion. Even the interior is not too bad. Some rips on the drivers seat but that's to be expected on a 20 year old vehicle. It could use a good cleaning but Jeeps are meant to get dirty.

Mechanically it seems like it may need some work. The drivers side caliper got stuck on the ride home and I had to pull over. There's also a noise coming from I believe the passenger side front. The best way I can describe it is how it sounds when you stick a playing card in the spokes of a bike. Possibly a wheel bearing but I'm no expert. Also, the radio doesn't work and the center brake light is out. The bolt that holds the drivers side seat belt to the frame is missing too. Besides that it drove just fine and shifted well.

Tomorrow if the weather is nice I'm going to see if I can get that caliper off and clean it up and maybe start changing fluids.
