Almost there...

IN the midst of purchasing a new house, and in my giddiness decided test driving a 2016 Willys would be fun. Mistake..... Now I must have it. I will have it. But, as you homeowners all know, I can't do anything until after closing. When's closing you ask? Next Friday, or more likely the Friday after. No big deal, just go get the jeep the day after. Sounds simple but...
The one I want is a two door. Two "half doors" to be precise.
And a manual
And in Rhino.
The rest I'll build or "mod".
Perhaps by now you can sense my issue. The local dealerships within 100 miles collectively have, one. The one I drove. They "can't hold it without running paperwork first" and I don't trust them to not do something to screw up the house deal. So I have to wait and hope....
This is a dream car of sorts for me. I'll be 46 this fall and it's about damned time I do something for me. So, the question.... What's the likely hood that I can find another one with the features I want? I'd be willing to compromise the half doors for full as I can always add after market half after the fact. But I gotta have the manual and not other color really strikes me. Black isn't enough "offset" with the black trim, the blu pearl they have just like it just isn't the same, although it is nice and has A/C. But ugh... I'm stuck. Just hafta wait. I hate waiting.
Anywho, I'm looking forward to learning from all of the members here and hoping to avoid/prevent some of the "mistakes" that others might have made.

Would it be bad form to go buy that Jeep and sell it to you after closing with a mark up?
Just kidding...but reading this literally made my poop shooter clinch...good luck with developing both patience and "holding your breath"...
