Another new guy from Tennessee

Hey all. Another new guy from TN here.

My first vehicle was a 1986 CJ-7 ... it had 4wd and nothing else (no A/C) but it sure was fun. Over the years I had a couple Cherokee's, but eight years ago the Land Rover bug bit me. Next thing I knew I had a lifted and heavily modified Discovery 2. Had a lot of fun with that truck, but I can't say I was sad to see it go when I sold it last spring.

So now I'm behind the wheel of a brand new 2010 Unlimited. Got Red Rock Crystal paint, 4wd (of course), and some nice options - like A/C!

It's just good to be back in a Jeep!

Land Between the Lakes? I'm in Franklin and some friends have a cabin up there. It's about 1.5 to 2 hours from here ...

Thanks for the big welcome everybody!

Thanks for all the compliments!

Yeah, the Red Rock had me hooked at first glance. The offroader in me wants to rip off those running boards and plastic bumpers, but I do think it looks nice. It'll be stock for at least a year or two until the "new" wears off ... plus I promised my wife nothing too crazy this time ...

Of course if I win the lottery I'll be calling AEV!
