Smile Any good itineraries for rtt camping on the way to Moab?

I joined a while back for tips on purchasing a JK. Thanks to everyone's vast accumulation of advice, I now have a 2016 sport four door that my wife and kids and I all love.

We are slowly upgrading it for general purpose. I purchased a Rhino Rack and Smittybilt Overlander xl. Really excited to get out and camp off the beaten path. We are planning a two week trip from Tulsa,OK to anywhere on the way to Moab and then back home through Gunnison to officiate a friends wedding. With the rtt we plan to camp the whole trip. To Moab, we would like to go through Amarillo to maybe Roswell and up throught the Grand Canyon. But, i am afraid of missing opportunities to visit amazing places on the "Southern" route to Moab. Any suggestions on places to visit? Any tips for traveling with a rtt and planning places to use it on the way? I know some places you can't just stop for some shut eye and move on but some you can. We want to get off the beaten path and see unique things. As always I'm sure a thread out there on this exists, so links to any of them is helpful as well!

Thanks!

Because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check out these forum areas and post your questions there, I think you'll get a better response.
