At last, a JKU!

My wife and I have been looking and looking and looking for a good deal on a 2012 or newer (bc of the updates) jeep unlimited in our price range for too long! Today we are proud to say we couldn't be any more ecstatic!!
Previous owner was nice enough to tint it for us, add black wheels and 32s along with some xenon hid lights I'm still unsure about.. it's growing on me I guess, we'll see if we end up keeping them.
Any thoughts or opinions on these lights? Anyone use them before?

I will be driving to work and back 5 days out of the week which is 1 mile from home.. and the remaining 2 days she will be out in the Rockies getting dirty!

I'll have to talk the wife into a mild lift in the future with these 32's though, looks like it wouldn't have much articulation.. we'll see.

This is our first Jeep so we don't know a thing about it's capabilities, yet. But we know they're kick ass rigs and built for a purpose. We decided to take a fun trip into the Rockies first thing this morning

And then... we found another Jeeper!!

Met up with them at the next pull over to chat and introduce ourselves.. Will (owner) was stoked, he had just splurged on all the goodies you see on his rig

Here's a cool picture of Will's rig

This is but a foot tall boulder but coming from a car, I was happy to take a pic

1 day after our purchase.. and we couldn't be any happier!

Welcome to the forum! Being from Colorado, take a look at traildamage.com if you haven't already (comprehensive trail descriptions, direction, ratings, etc.). And keep an eye out on the Colorado boards for planned trips (or even post your own). Going with others has been invaluable to my off-roading education! Hope to see you around and even join you on the trail sometime!

Thanks for the heads up! Took a peak at a few websites for trail info but most of them require memberships.. I'm definitely going to pickup FunTreks guidebook for southern Colorado but traildamage.com is pretty useful to plan something out before heading out!

We can't wait to meet up with others in our area, I keep looking at the Colorado section just in case.

I am off the next 2 days and I might just post to see if anyone is up for a run somewhere..

Bluedevil1, thanks for the welcome.. I'm already hooked on this forum & we wave at every Jeep
