Completely new to the Forum and Jeeps

Hello everyone,

The name is Kevin and you can feel free to use my screen name or my real name. I'm not picky like that.

I'm unashamed to say I am new to the world of Jeeps and have very minimal experience with offroading (Just traded in a 2002 Nissan Xterra which I took offroading once. Hell of a fun time.)

I was lead here after being recommended by a good friend of mine who has been a Jeep guy since birth.

I can't wait to get my new-to-me Wrangler home (hopefully tomorrow) and start my new life as a Jeep Wrangler owner.

I always loved the Wrangler since I was a child in the 90's growing up with Jurassic Park and having done and still doing WWII reenacting (US before, now Soviet) it had simply been an unattained dream of mine which is finally coming true. I am the proud owner of a pre-loved (and with mild "character" marks added) 2011 2dr Wrangler.

Sufficed to say I am glad to be here and eager to soak up the swaths of valuable information to be had here.

-Kevin

Too late for your warning...... I don't even have the paperwork done (deposit is holding it) and I already ordered a part.... has been a tradition of mine to put my own something into a new vehicle as soon as possible to break the champagne over it so to speak but this is the first time I've bought a part before I bought the vehicle lol.

lol I CAN relate. Before I actually picked mine up, I already knew what wheels I was replacing the stock one's with. That was over a year ago, when I bought my TJ, and I STILL have a list of things I want to change. -Crazy
