Finally

Since I was a teenager I wanted to own a wrangler, finally bought one last week, 2008 X v6 6speed manual.. Took my first run on the beach with it while on military duty in VA, drove down to the outer banks NC, and saw the wild horses of Corolla.. It was awesome..

this is just too good of a welcome to pass up! WELCOME and congrats on the new Jeep. I must say silver looks mighty good and it looks even better down there on those beautiful beaches with horses! If your from NC or nearby then you should come wheelin with us sometime. Lots of wrangler owners here

You can take 158 to the outer banks, after crossing the Wright memorial bridge the road forks - you can continue on 158 to head to Hatteras and all along 158 you will find parking lots that have beach access points or you can take 12 which will take you to Corolla(about 15-20 miles from fork), when you get to the end of 12 you drive right onto the beach.. Word of caution - keep you ur distance from the wild horses, huge fines have been given out for getting to close/harrasing the horses..
