Good advice right here before you start dropping hard-earned dough. It's easy to get bitten by the modification bug, and once you do the only treatment is buying mods and the only true cures are either ridding of your jeep completely or emptying your wallet

But seriously, great choice. I have a 2012 Sport JK and I love it! There is a ton of good info in these forums; do a bit of research, use the search function to see if you can find old threads, and don't be afraid to ask questions! Everyone was new at some point

Welcome aboard and don't forget the wave!

Hey thanks for the reply. I updated the profile but figured this would be quicker. I mainly drive to work and where ever else needed. My wrangler is my everyday car. Id like to take it on some trails soon. I honestly just haven't found the time with work being busy. But end game id like it to be able to handle being an everyday vehicle and some trail work too. Nothing crazy though. As far as why. i say why not haha. I just love the vehicle and was finally able to purchase one financially. thanks again, appreciate the advice.

Welcome! First, enjoy the best vehicle you will ever own! Then take it one mod at a time check out the cheap mods thread, it's great, albeit a little long. It has little things you can do that won't break the bank and will start the itch to move on to bigger projects. Nothing wrong with using a wrangler for an everyday car, but I wouldn't go out and get heavy duty off road tires just cause they look cool. Maybe look for a local jeep club if that sounds like something you would enjoy. They are everywhere. Have a friend with a jeep? Take 'em out for some easy trails to get the hang of it one Saturday. (Don't mean to offend saying easy trails...just not sure what your level of off roading skill is)
