First Time Jeep Owner - soon to sell

Well, it's been a bumpy ride (pun intended) as a new jeep owner...actually the daughter's jeep, I just get to pay for the repairs.

Well, it's time to sell because the daughter seemed to be more enamored with the thought of having a jeep versus the reality of owning a jeep. Considering that daddy's not made of money...it was an older jeep.

Well, She Who Must Be Obeyed (a.k.a. the wife) wants to sell it because it is too problematic.

I will now turn to the collective wisdom (or ridicule) of this forum to find out just how much money I will lose when I have to sell it.

Welcome, only thing to say is that it holds it's value and it is summertime. Take the top off and put the sign on it. Good luck to you..

Hard to tell without more info, I suggest you post your question in the forum area specific to your Jeep model. Be sure to include lots of information and pics if possible.
We ask that you don't try to sell it on the forum unless you comply with the rules https://www.wranglerforum.com/f14/cla...ing-76397.html

In the mean time, I just like to say . . .

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks

Thanks to all for the welcoming messages.

Yes, I know I'll have to post some pictures of the YJ.

I'd really like to get some feedback on what I could realistically ask for it when I go to sell.

I'm prepared to lose money on it but I just want to minimize the financial damage.

As soon as I have some good resolution pictures I'll post in the YJ forum and get some feedback on a fair asking price.

Check craigslist and auto trader and see what they are going for in your area. summertime is a good time to sell it. Price it accordingly and see what happens.

Seems like "AreaMan" ain't the only one trying to unload his Wrangler..
Central FL craigslist is LOADED with 'em.
As usual, condition & prices are all over the board.
Good luck!

I've done that but can't find one close enough to mine.

It's an 89 Wrangler but it has the Howell Fuel Injection conversion and pretty low miles. It's an automatic with A/C

I know I'm going to take a loss...I'm just trying to reduce the severity of the financial sodomy that awaits me.
