First wrangler! Need good sound system!

I just bought my DREAM car. I've wanted it since I can remember. It's perfect in every way except that the speakers don't match up to the rest of the Jeep at all. Any advice on a good sound system? I'm willing to spend a good amount of money for good quality. I want something that will sound awesome with the top off; loud enough and have depth and good bass. I do have a sound bar. Interested in a subwoofer. Would putting mini speakers on the dashboard help with volume with the top off also? Thanks for the help!

Throw some 6.5 inch components in the sound bar and fill the bar will poly fill makes a big difference. As for the front get some adapters so you can fit 5 1/4s in the front then also use polyfill/ baffles. I recommend a kenwood excelon deck, good warranty and the built in eq is really nice to have. If you have the cash get a decent four channel amp for the speakers and then throw a sealed ten in the trunk with a decent sized amp and you should be golden.

I agree with Jeepr, I installed a similar system and included Memphis car audio speakers in the sound bar and front dash, two 10 inch subs In a box behind the rear seat, and an amp under the rear seat. It sounds amazing and is awesome with the top off. Good luck and enjoy !

I have an 04 Wrangler Rubicon. It seems the only speakers I have are in the speaker pods/sound bar. Shouldn't I have two under the dash? Sorry to hijack

There are two in the dash. When you open the door on either side, below the vent you will see an area with open spaces, the speakers are behind those.

thanks for all the welcoming!

what do you all think about putting marine speakers? since those are for boats so obviously made for open air and getting wet.

Welcome aboard! You can do a lot with the sound bar you have an a decent 10 inch sub like the ones you can put in the center consoles.
