Greetings from Chile , South America

Hi, new member here. I have a 2001 Wrangler Sport which has been great, but need a few replacement parts. Some are almost impossible to get here and so would appreciate any advice as to where I can buy...I have looked around various sites but can find parts such as the heater control panel, drivers seat lift strap, etc...many thanks in advance.

You're from Chile and you don't have a "Mountain"? You know the latitude/ longitude on the Mountain seats is for a trail in Chile?

It's funny that I see a new member from chile. As it goes with most of us in the world, we're only familier with the things closest to us. But coincidentally enough I was looking at my sons world atlas the other day and refamiliarized myself with where Chili was. Dude, You got a Coast Line and a Mountain Chain from one end to the other. If that's not 4wheelin country, nothin is.
Do a search on Junk Yards that will ship parts. I would recommend yards in Texas or New Mexico and maybe Navada and georgia. Anyplace southern US except maybe Florida, Louisiana which has a lot of salt and rust.
Good luck and welcome to the neighborhood.

Hi Steve from Chile, I hope you found your part! My name is Melissa and my husband Mike and I will be visiting Chile over the holidays. I've tried every way I can think of to rent an actual jeep (not a darn Suzuki "jeep," which is what keeps getting offered to me), and I'm coming up empty. I'm wondering if you might have any recommendations for how to rent a Wrangler in the Santiago area? Any advice you would give we be so much appreciated. We have friends in Santiago but they are definitely urban dwellers and if I'd ask them how to rent a jeep they'd insist on making reservations for us to be driven around. We're only going to be driving for about a week, so buying isn't cost effective. Cheers, Melissa
