hello

I am now negotiating on my first wrangler. My needs are leaning towards the sport. I am 59 so my rock climbing mud bogging days are over. My father is excited because he assembled Jeeps during WW2 in France on the beach, they kept the pace on the line because if you slowed down the tide was washing you feet. So I say Hi

Wow, dang, interesting history! Welcome! I feel like I've lived under a rock compared to that! Can you give us more history about your father's involvement on the beach? I'm just looking for a well-told story!

i will get more details from Pop, he has a little model of a WW2 Willies that he got out as soon as I told him I was buying a jeep. I had to inform him that they had changed a bit. He pointed out the entrenching tools on the model and said that when he landed on Omaha beach that the weapons carrier was loaded with them. He had to "jump" the ramp because the landing craft had not landed squarely on the beach and the operator said that "no way" would he attempt another landing under fire.

Bring it, bring it! This sounds like he arrived on or after D-Day during the Normandy ops. Did he?

What's wrong with crazy? Do you equate that with "crazy with your wallet?" I don't need a rubi because I don't rock crawl. I don't have the kind of money to fix damages racked up on trips like that.
