Hello all =) NEED help with new JEEP

Hi everyone I am new to the jeep community was given a 2004 Wrangler with over $175k invested in it to sell (Custom work done by Kryptonite Custom Works). So I am asking for help to find out more about this jeep's worth and value to a jeep enthusiast. I would also like it to find a worthy owner to appreciate this work of fine craftsmanship. Thank You for your time. Email me at [email protected] thanks again.

Wow! Somebody put $175k in a Jeep!!!! Craziness runs rampant... If you want help getting the value for it you're gonna have to tell us something about it. Like miles, trans, and what kind of nut would be willing to dump that kind of cash in something to beat the crap out of on the trails.......

I'd guess off the top of my head that a good condition '04 TJ with average miles would bring somewhere in the neighbor hood of $15k, depending on your location.

Yea, ok....

I'm thinking SCAM, SPAM or green eggs & ham!

The guy's first post, no pics, no links and sure smells like what the south end of a north bound bull leaves in a field to me!

Hey~! I would LOVE to see pictures of this "$175K+" Jeep.....find it hard to believe that if you are willing to drop that much $$ into it, you would come on a forum to ask us approx what WE think it's worth. In my eyes most enthusiasts and know darn well what they have sitting out in that garage.
Show us what you got!

<----------has a feeling I just wasted 3 minutes of my life on this post.

You were given it too sell?? Free and clear? If you already know how much its appraised for, why are you asking us what we think its value is? And are you really trying to find a worthy owner.... or a rich one??

And as much as I love Wranglers, if I have 175k to spend on a vehicle, it sure as hell wouldn't be a Jeep!

That could be built for 40K easy, and that's paying someone to do it for you. I'm not saying its not worth it, I by all means am a fan of saying its worth what someones willing to pay....but, I'd say the builder has the appraiser in his pocket on this one

You're right Rc, on this forum we get a little carried away sometimes with the ribbing and all....

But in all seriousness, you have to look at it from our point of view, its your first post, you tell us you have been given a 175k vehicle to sell and you basically want too sell it to one of us, and instead of pics, you post two youtube vids for us to watch. Now, understandably, you are going to have skeptics.

If its for real, then I appologize if I or anyone else here has offended you. Its a beautiful Jeep!

When it's a specialised vehicle you can't really put a price on it. The mods are not worth new price value & the time spent is vertually lost when trying to re-sell. Why don't you put it on Ebay & see where it goes, make sure to put a reasonable reserve so you are happy with the winning bid at the end.
imo- someone has had a lot of time & money to build something like that, but it's never going to be worth what they put into it. Kind of like making a mansion out of a manufactured home, it is still a manufactured home even with all the mods under the sun. Good Luck bud

It is badass in all seriousness but not worth anything near 130k or 175k in modifications thats for sure.

Unless they charge insane labor or they worked on it for a year straight.

Oh, and I wouldnt sell that thing if I got it for free... Unless you could get 130k out of it then I'd buy a TJ and build it better and then buy a big old cummins and awesome trailer to take it roadin..

Hmmm... I went to Kyrptonite Custom Works website, they have pictures of projects there, no mention of this Jeep unless I'm missing something.

Thought it would be cool to see a build page on it or something.
