Hello from Eastern MA

Hi all. I had a first year TJ Sahara that I drove for eight years 97-05 and then I got into a 2005 Ford F-150 SCREW Lariat. It aged well but it aged. I went to the local dealer today and had fun test driving a new 2018 Rubicon. Now I'm *this* close to pulling the trigger on it but I'm feeling some cold feet.

I guess the main reason is that they're telling me there is no room on MSRP that being a new model the prices are set on the JLs. It makes sense I guess but then how do dealers compete with each other if they are all just selling at MSRP? They have to have their invoice price and seems they should be able to beat each other sellling MSRP to me. Idk...

Anyway. I may be... likely will be I guess getting into a new JL... if I can allay my current misgivings on putting out the MSRP money. Anyone on here affiliated with a dealer in the Boston or Providence metro areas speak to pricing models and if that I been told rings true or not? I'm looking at https://www.firstchryslerdodgejeepram.com/new/Jeep/2018-Jeep-Wrangler-for-sale-north-attleboro-massachusetts-1b4e271c0a0e0ae7129c0822e2b55503.htm.

to the forum! Here is a big Jeep wave to you from the South Shore!

I bought my Jeep from First Jeep in Attleboro. I don't know if you will find a better deal anywhere else but I can say without a doubt that they treated me very well and took care of any issues I had without question. I have been very happy with them.

Thanks for the greets guys. That's a bit reassuring to hear RichL35. They treated me well too. Even tried talking me into a JK, but I was pretty stoked for the new model.

I've just seen Edmunds (https://www.kbb.com/cars-for-sale/48...hicleid=433821) telling me that a fair price is below MSRP.
