Hello from Missouri

Hey there, just bought a 1993 YJ for my soon to be 16 year old daughter, needs a little TLC but overall in good shape. 111,253 miles on it, gave $3000, came with a hard top, Bikini top, and a new set of mounted studded tires on a extra set of rims. Has a 2 inch body lift with 32 inch tires. The wife and I have owned 4 Jeeps, its been a while though since we have had a CJ type Jeep. I forgot how much fun these are to drive. Might have to sell the truck and get myself a Jeep. Looks like a shop manual needs to be puchased. Needs little things like u-joints replaced, turn indicator wire is dangling, but overall in good shape. Drove it 163 miles home last night and parked it in the driveway, went out this morning and saw no oil spots, that should be a good sign. Looking forward to leaning how to work on these and maybe getting another jeep. Chris.

Welcome to the Wrangler Forum, Chris! Lucky daughter!!! My parents passed down the '83 Oldsmobile Delta 88 to me that I grew up in when I started driving. I loved it, but I suspect a wrangler would have been much more fun and I probably would have crashed into less things, haha. Sounds like you got a good deal, when you get around to it we'd love to see pictures! And your daughter should hop over and join us here too!

Cheers - Andrea (& Greg!)

Hello Welcome to the forum, post pictures of the jeep, and have a blast! Sounds like you and your daughter are going to have a great time. My daughters are still driving their Barbie Jeeps.
