hey all from fort worth

just picked up a new to me 89 yj. at first i took it to flip and get a better bike but in the 24 hours i had it, it grew on me big time so ive decided to keep it. need to fix a few things like oil leak(not sure from where), ac not blowing through the vents, and overall just clean it up. thus far it has(from what i can tell and not listening to the PO) 3 inch lift procomp leafs/rancho shocks, 33 tires(completely bald lol) hard top with full doors, and a hard wired sony xplod tape deck lol. wish me luck on my adventure. first step, new tires so i can actually drive it lol

im not sure yet. havent been able to dig into it....doesnt look to be bad but ive also not had time to drive it more than a few miles to walmart and back. im not a big motor head by any means but i am fairly mechanically inclined and im not afraid to pick up a manual and wrench. all i can tell is there is oil and build up over the entire block. it runs well enough and does not overheat. smokes a little bit. 140k on the odo.
