Welcome to WF! Just wait until you put a lift and bigger tires on it. You'll be looking at an engine upgrade or turbo kit. Lol.

Hi Steelpony,

I just joined also. I too bought a TJ with the 4banger. It came with 12" wide 33" tires, a 5spd manual tranny, 4:11 gears, and was slow on the highway.

I swapped the 33s for a set of 10" wide 31" tires. It's now a joy to drive. I have no trouble keeping up with my son's XJ with the 4.0 6banger on those 33s.
