Hi from Michigan I have questions

I had bought my first jeep last year a 1991 wrangler and I sold it before winter hit here in Michigan because I had a really hard time getting it to move while stopped at lights ect when it was icy or snowy, even in 4 wheel , now it was a base model and had nothing fab. for tires, I miss it and now know what I want in a jeep for acessories and all that. My questions are When I buy my next one and I'm gonna look for 2000 to 2006 , are there any features I should look for beside( 4wheel) or is it just a matter of better tires ? Btw I had no trouble at all in deep and unplowed snow just on our icy and snowy roads, any suggestions or tips would be helpful thanks

All vehicles have a really hard time with ice-and even a Jeep is gonna be tough to get moving-but if it is solid ice, maybe that is a good thing? However the best tires you can get/afford will make a huge difference in how it goes in the bad weather. Especially if the old tires were of questionable quality or almost wore out.

Good Luck in your search.

Thanks for the advice, I had bought my jeep at the end of last winter and the last couple storms were a pain in the butt so I sold it but now would like to try again and this time with a 6 cylinder and for sure full doors.
