Smile Hi from Spain (JKU 2014 Polar)

Hi everybody!
First, sorry for my english. I am from Spain, I was living in California for a year in 2008 but, now, I hardlyever speak English and I can notice how my level it´s getting worse.

This is my story:

In 2005 my family wanted to buy a BMW X3 but the BMW dealer was so slow giving us prices and finally, my father who always wanted to have a real 4x4 again (before Suzuki Santana 85, Range Rover 95,...) saw a Jeep KJ (in USA Liberty, here Cherokee) and finally we bought a KJ 2016.

Until that moment I never had special interest in Jeep but from this moment (my cars always were sports cars BMW Z3, Porsche Boxster, MINI Cooper S r57,...) I started to see Jeep in other way

Even when I was living in California, I wanted to buy a JK but It was so expensive for me (I finally bought a Mustang convertible that I don´t like so much (the driving, I love the car) but It let me to travel a lot... good memories

Well, 2 years ago, I started to use everyday de KJ for work (I have a communication & marketing studio, so useful to record spots &movies...).
My girlfriend satarted to use too and loved it, and we started to talk about the JKs...we always were in love for a JKU.

Here a video (made for fun) with the KJ

So finally... I found a JKU Polar 2014 in mint condition (less than 30k miles) and we bought it this week.
Automatic, diesel engine 2.8CRD,.. We are so happy with it.

Next week we have to pick up it
So excited to enjoy it..

So... looking for information in internet I found this forum that have a lot information. Year ago I was in other forums of BMW, Porsche, MINI, and had a great experience so.. here I am. Happy to say hi to all of you!
And so excited to ask some questions about our new JKU Polar

Hope to learn so much and, maybe, can help someday

Congrats on your new jeep. I'm sure compared to other forums, wranglerforum is the most active.

Like you regarding language, without any practice, you will tend to forget. I use to be bilingual but now i can only understand the second language instead of speaking it.

Thank you!!
It’s impressive the information. Glad to be here

You are right with the language, my case is the same. I usually teach (once a year) in a international master and for this I have a bit of level yet. But now 2 years withou teach in English and I can notice how fast I’m losing my language. I can understand very good but speak is beeing a bit hard.
Probably with the forum I will improve!

One of my favorite places to offload is in the mountains north of Salobrena. Also some cool places north of Cadiz/Rota. Great duty station. Semper Fi.
