High Speed Violet Vibration

Just bought an ’02 TJ and have a vibration from Hell. Have read through countless posts regarding this common problem to no avail.

Here’s the skinny: Has a 4-inch lift, 33-inch tires, sway bar disconnects, SYE, CV, and 1-inch TC drop.

Just had rear drive shaft rebalanced and all new U-joints but still have vibe at 50 MPH. Was positive vibe was coming from rear but after rebalance it's hard to tell exaclty where the vibe is coming from.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

Originally the vibe was definitely coming from the rear. Removed the rear driveshaft and then the steering wheel had a small vibration.

After reinstalling the repaired drive shaft it's difficult to tell exactly where the vibe is coming from. Will lose the t-case drop; perhaps it's the pinion angle.

Thanks to all!!!

have you moved your tires around to see if the vibe follows a tire?

welcome

Also check your alignment: Basic Jeep Front End Alignment
Might also want to go thru your suspension system and torque everything back to factory specs.

Exclamation Vibe

I can tell the difference between someone being helpful and someone just being snarky, and if you fall into the latter camp, just STFU. You're messing up the vibe around here.

Lighten up, Francis. It's all good. Nobody here has any ill will towards you. Welcome to the forum.

Full disclosure: I did laugh a little at the line "Originally the vibe was definitely coming from the rear." but then, I do have a dirty mind.
