I am a new jeep owner

I have a problem and not sure I can give you all the answers you are going to ask. My front license plate was stolen off my jeep. I don't remember if it was just mounted to the bumper or if it had a bracket around it. I got my new plates and went to place the plate and can not just screw it on. I will probably have to send a picture of the front please just let me know. I have the round bumper in front and it looks to have another bumper mounted over it. I can not get to the back of the bumper to mount the plate with bolts and nuts. I have the freaking feeling I will have to take the front piece off the bumper to place my plate on. I was hoping there was a bracket I can get that will mount so I will not have to take the flipping bumper off. Can you please help?

Welcome to the Jeep family. Do you have an aftermarket bumper?

Welcome to the forum. As mentioned above, pictures would be helpful. If you are like most of us, you have a ton of photos of your Jeep on your cell or in your computer. Find one of the bumper with the old plate on and maybe we can help.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply back I have way to many things on my plate. So attached is a picture of my front bumper and for those who needed to know the year it is a 2000
I hope I did this right for loading a picture, have not quite figured my way around this web site yet.

I see my post did not upload the picture of the front bumper of my jeep. I did get it uploaded to the site just not sure how to get it in here for it to be seen easier. It is in the gallery labeled front bumper. I think I am at the point now of just ripping the bumper off and mounting the plate. Not a happy camper. Going to put security screws in this time so it can not be stolen again.
