I'm a Jeeper Girl once more!

I hope I'm posting the right way, trying to add this in new member discussion...

After five years without a Wrangler (bad mistake) I've bought a 2011 Wrangler Sport with 65000 wonderful miles. I feel complete once more!

Li'l Sparky

Thanks to all! I named my Wrangler "Li'l Sparky" and am emptying my pockets to make him my own. Li'l Sparky is just like my kids were....always wanting money for something not needed, but wanted. I love him so! Gotta get out into the pasture today and try out the 4X4 on the steep hills. Hope a cow doesn't back into me!

Lol. This is so true.

Have fun in your new Jeep. Welcome back to the family

One of my buddy's owns a ranch, I cannot believe how fast cows can move. While most were nice, he had one bull that was possessed or something, he was mean as could be, he ended up selling him.

That's what we do too if a cow or bull is mean. That keeps the herd gentle. But even nice ones love to lick the mirrors and rub their heads against the bumper, or accidentally back their fat butts into the door! I'm so lovin' my Jeep! I just smile every time I think about it. Thanks for the welcome.

See that you now have a legitimate reason to put new steel bumpers on Lil' sparky, to protect him from the cows. LOL

Its funny how us Jeepers justify our mods

Ho ho! The bumpers would have to go all the way around! Maybe I should just outrun the cow,,,

I saw on another thread that you (I think it was your reply) said you didn't get your first Jeep until you were 60. YAY for you! I'll be 60 this year, and having that Jeep now is definitely the thing to do. You go girl!

Thanks! I think ALL Jeeps are great looking, don't you? I've been having way more fun with this Jeep than my first, because I'm not so worried about, well, anything in life. JEEP also = Just Eliminate Extraneous Panic

Wow, I REALLY love your Jeep! I drove one almost identical to it right before I bought mine. It had the light bar and the thingy on the front (OK, so I have a new part-name to learn). It had some other lights up by the windshield and HUGE tires. Way jacked up too. I truly loved it and love the color (red red is my fave). I decided it was too much for me to handle, and I went a little more conservative, if a Jeep can be conservative. It would have been Big Sparky. My Sparky's name came from an old Christmas poem about a little elf named Sparky. Where did your Sparky's name come from, if I may ask?

Thank! I love being a Jeep girl. My 89 year old father drives a gorgeous flame red 2000 Cherokee, so it's probably in the blood. (He lives up in the mountains in California with hairpin turns to get to his house, plus he flies his own plane, so he's fearless and completely awesome).

Haha that's awesome! My Sparky's name came from me getting shocked on everything while doing installs haha
Easiest way to test if I had power and ground
....well, that and it's my CB handle so the name kinda worked

That's so good! Kind of like testing a 9Volt battery on your tongue, only a bit more ooomph. Since I got my front license plate saying "Li;l Sparky" some have asked if that's my name. I don't have a CB (haven't done the Rubicon yet, nor any serious trails so it hasn't been necessary), but I guess that would be my handle if I ever do. I've been TO the Rubicon and flew over it with my dad in his plane (he's 89 years old!), but traversing it on the ground is on the bucket list. Might do Moab sometime soon, as I have a daughter who lives near there. Have you ever done any of the big-time trails?
