In desperate need of a good Jeep mechanic on Long Island

The car is a 2007 Jeep Wrangler which is experiencing recurring electrical problems. This is the well-known problem with Jeeps of this type and year in which the electrical system seems to simply shut down. Then the car starts, maybe an hour or two later. Various dealers have all claimed that they've either fixed the problem or can't replicate it. Most have indicated it's a wireless remote problem. Multiple dealers have ALL failed to resolve this problem. Anybody know a non-dealer mechanic who can deal with this on Long Island?

Well nothin' to it if I could actually figure out how to create a post. As far as calling it a "car" is concerned, apologies if I offended. But call it anything you want, it's still won't go and that's my problem.

Can you give me a step-by-step with regard to creating a post. I keep looking for a button or a menu item or anything that say "create a post" or similar and I see nothing. What am I missing?

Just like you did here, to start a new thread click on the 'new thread' button at the top of the column.

I recommend going to the New York forum here and starting your thread there. Here's a link to the forum area: New York Jeep Forum - Jeep Wrangler Forum
