Intro Hello

Hi Folks,

My name's Dale, live in Oregon, just joined, I've had an early Bronco for a while which works well on wider trails. I recently attended the Pacific Northwest 4WD Jamboree north of Yakima and realized shorter, narrower is better in the tight trees where one scrapes bark most of the day. So I bought a stock used (2006) TJ Rubicon which I want to keep low and run 35's on. I've installed the Old Man Emu 2" lift and have a AEV high fender kit on the way. Anybody else running this combo successfully? Bumpers, winch, rocker guards, and Currie drag link/tie rod ass'y on the way. What else do I need to think about? Better skid plate protection than stock maybe? Interested in opinions. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Dale. It sounds like you have put some thought into this. I would say that you are off to a great start. Now if you could just post a pic or 2 that would be awesome.

Welcome to the forum! Look into doing the locker by-pass so you'll be able to use the lockers in 4-HI!
