Jeep joy again!

Hi ya'll !
Thanks for welcoming me into the forum. Lost my first Jeep to my ex back in '99 just to free my soul from agony, but happy to proudly own my '97, purchased in March.
I had it for 2 weeks, she started to run a lil rough and a tapping started. I was eventually told by a mechanic that my rods and lifters needed to be replaced.
Long story short,and $1,500 later,
The issue wasn't solved.
So,Last month, I bought a re-man engine,
a manual and with $150 paid to a friend for guidance,I dropped that baby in myself and she's been purring like a kitten ever since.
A lil tough work and grease under my nails but my outcome was a fulfilling personal accomplishment. To me,it's a brand new Jeep and I was able to put lots of new parts and clean all as I set her in the engine compartment.
HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY !!!
Nice to chat amongst those who share the same fun love.
JEEP WRANGLER.

Welcome to the forums. There’s a lot to be said about accomplishing a task like an engine swap. Congratulations on doing it yourself and learning how to wrench on your own Jeep!
