Just another newb

Hey guys, just got an 04 Wrangler X in yellow. its got the 4.0 with the manual. Very clean. Only 60k miles, and for $8000, i thought it was a good deal. Ive never owned a Jeep before and none of my friends have either. I havent been far from the Chysler group since my last two vehicles were Dodge Rams. Like the rest of you, I too am about to begin my modding craze. Currently, the Jeep sits with a 2" body lift (i think, the guy wasnt clear when he sold it) and 31" tires so its not completely stock. Im definitely going to put a 4" suspension lift and get maybe 33"-35" tires (you tell me which is better) and then new bumpers all around including rocker panel gurads. I want a winch as well. Maybe a light bar too on the windshield, i havent decided yet whether I like them or not lol. It would be greatly appreciated if you guys could give me some recommendations on what to get, maybe post some pics of your ride and tell me what is has. Thanks.

By the way, this Jeep will be used as my second vehicle so take that into consideration. I pretty much plan on using it mainly for off road use (that explains the manual)
Just for kicks, Ive got an extra amp and want to wire in a subwoofer. Not sure if a 15 will fit back there but if you have the dimensions, that would be nice

Welcome! As far as a 15 inch sub fitting in the back good luck on that one, I got 2 10s behind the rear seat but most likely for that 15 you will have to take out the rear seat or somehow create a wicked mounting location behind the rear seat, good luck on your build and say goodbye to your paychecks...

Haha thanks. Ive squeezed two 12's in a regular cab and a 10 under a seat so this should be interesting. Havent got a good look at the trunk yet but ill see what my options are.
Probably first real mod ive been saving up for will be new bumper and winch

Welcome to the Forum-Saw a lot of questions about how to mod your Jeep?--might suggest going to the TJ thread starter and asking there. I think more people read those than the new member check-in. Also more TJ people read that one.
